Event Venue in Sellwood

For Your Next Event

McCulloch Construction has just finished remodeling a very beautiful, large (4000+ square ft.) neoclassical home in Sellwood on the bluff overlooking the wetlands and the Willamette river.

The main living space is amazing, with a wall of glass looking into the forest and surrounded by a balcony for an exciting, almost theatrical entertaining space.

This home is now available to host events in return for a small “donation” to raise funds for the McCulloch Foundation’s housing, scholarship and internship programs.

If you want to use this beautiful house for your own event, you can check the calendar for availability between May 1-July 30 and give us a call or send us some details by email to book it. We will be happy to help you arrange catering and valet parking. It is an ideal location for lectures, presentations, performances, wine & cheese parties, celebrations, silent auctions, meetings and other social events (approximately 150-200 people maximum).

With a nearby trail leading through a forested area down to the wetlands and river below, it is also perfect for organizations wishing to emphasize ecology or share nature activities with their members.

Thank you for helping us on our road to growing a successful nonprofit!

This is a great space for presentations and performances. John McCulloch would be happy to give a presentation during your event about the history of Sellwood, historic architecture, the importance of affordable housing options in Portland, providing internships in building, remodeling and architectural design, or the importance and significance of neighborhood Historic District designation.

This house is also ideal for small wedding parties, board retreats, celebrations, silent-auctions, and other fund-raising events.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions or ideas.
